Great design looks effortless .. It isn't.
My name's Sam Evans, and I'm a Freelance Senior Motion Designer & Art Director, based in London - I could state that it's all about strategy and craft, and they both definitely matter - but the reality is way messier. It's decisions that work, decisions that don't, and sometimes you just get lucky. My job is to show up with clear thinking, clean execution, and persistence to keep refining right up until the deadline.
.. That means treating every part of the process like it matters. Unpacking the brief until the actual problem surfaces. Building files that won't break when the inevitable last minute changes come through .. And obsessing over each keyframe - because sometimes a small tweak in timing can be the difference between something that works, and something that doesn't.
